What we keep about you, and why
This notice is written for editors and developers who run drafts and domain lists through our service. It is general by design.
Start with the short list
We hold little. Your Google sign-in, your API key and your balance make up most of it. We do not ask for anything we do not use to run the service, bill a call or keep abuse out of the index.
Signing in with a Google account gives us the identifier and e-mail address that Google shares for that purpose, and we use them to recognise your account and for nothing else. Everything below explains how those pieces and a few technical records are handled. Short tour.
Data and its purpose
| What | Why we have it |
|---|---|
| Google account identifier and e-mail | To let you in and tell accounts apart |
| API key and balance | To authorise calls and bill credit |
| Request records (action, time, cost) | To charge correctly, find faults and prevent abuse |
| Payment details for USDT top-ups | To match a transfer to an account |
| Technical data such as IP address | To keep the service running and secure |
The domains you send us
Lookups are requests about public websites. We process them to answer you and to meter usage, and we keep that processing narrow, because a lookup that cannot be billed or debugged is of no use to either of us. Nothing more.
We do not read your drafts. Short and true. The service never receives them; only the domains or parameters you choose to submit arrive at our servers, so keep confidential text out of the query string and send us bare domains.
Our index is built by our own crawler and is kept apart from your account activity. Cookies are limited to what sign-in needs, and we do not run advertising trackers on the explorer. Keys are shown on the account page, so treat them like passwords and replace one if you think it has been exposed. Be careful.
Sharing and your choices
We do not sell account data. Not now, not ever. We may use service providers for hosting, sign-in and payments, and we may disclose information where the law requires it, limited to what is asked.
You can ask us to look at, correct or delete data tied to your account. Sign in and use the account page to contact us, and describe what you want done so that we can answer without guessing. Simple as that.
If this notice changes in a material way, the date at the top of the page changes with it, and we suggest a quick look whenever you renew your key or top up your balance. Check back.
